Theme Week this year was all about "In the Dark". The children all took part in lots of different activities and learning around the theme both with their class teacher and with other teachers from different year groups. These included creating shadow puppet shows, researching nocturnal animals, learning about night safety and many, many more.
Throughout the week, there were many whole school experiences such as holding and stroking a range of owls, taking part in visually impaired activities, visiting the planetarium, creating a whole school glow art gallery and hearing the experiences of a guest who visited with his guide dog. We finished in Friday afternoon with a fantastic glow dance session led by Mrs Bendell.
