What a fantastic time the Year 5 children had on Friday! The children should be so proud of the shelters they designed, created and survived in overnight. Thankfully, t
he shelters remained standing and were a credit to the children and their adults that helped out during the day on Friday and to the very early risers that came in on Saturday morning! After munching on s’mores and hotdogs, completing orienteering in the dark and having the largest sleepover with their friends, we hope they will remember Survival Night 2023 for many years to come.
This opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the help of our supportive families and to the many Birch Copse staff, who so kindly gave up their time to give our children such a memorable experience.
