Year 6 classes were fortunate to visit The Baylab at Green Park this week, where they took part in a workshop focussed on the cardiovascular system. It was a great experience for all of the Year 6s, who were able to investigate various aspects of the circulatory system in a laboratory setting using high-tech equipment. Activities included: making fake blood; examining real blood under a microscope; using heart rate monitors, stethoscopes and oxygen meters; exploring an enormous inflatable heart and much more.
