On Wednesday 17th January, four budding scientists from Years 5 and 6 took part in the semi-finals of the Quiz Club’s National Championships for Science, having made it through the online heats back in November.
The questions were extremely tough and covered many areas of science not covered in the Primary Curriculum. Unfortunately, our scientists didn’t make it to the final but they did very well, scoring over 1000 points! We were particularly impressed by, not only the knowledge they all displayed during the quiz, but by their enthusiasm and preparation for the quiz. A massive well done to all four participants!
