Our Arabian painted horse!
Our painted horse is loaded onto the horse box back to Newbury Racecourse ready for the Dubai International Arabian Race Day on Sunday 28th July. It's a free family race day so we hope lots of parents will attend for a lovely family day out and to see our horse in the competition parade ring!
Our horse is in good company!
The children's ideas were used for our design. Under the guidance of Mrs King, the horse was painted to show the contrast between the Arabian landscape and architecture, and that of the United Kingdom.
The children took turns in helping to paint the horse - it took an awful lot of work!
There was a huge amount of 'horse' to paint!
It took a long time but the children were really pleased with their work - our horse was ready to go back to Newbury - we are keeping out fingers crossed that we may win a prize!
