Denefield Sheild Champions!
Congratualtions to our Year 5/6 mixed football team who represented Birch Copse so well at a football tournament at Denefield school last Tuesday. The children competed against four other local schools, Long Lane, Downsway, Purley and Park Lane. Birch Copse won all of their matches without conceding a goal - a real achievement. As a result, they were awarded the Denefield Shield, which now sits proudly in the main entrance on our trophy shelf.
