Wow is the word to describe the quality of cakes that have been baked for the Birch Copse Bake Off this year. Organised by the School Council, children from every year group were encouraged to wash their hands, role up their sleeves, pop on their aprons and get baking. They certainly did. Over two days, children bought in their cakes, with the second cake sale taking place after school on Friday 8th March.
The School Council had the very difficult job of choosing the winning cakes and announced them in assembly. There was a winner for each class as well as one 'Master Baker' from the infants and junior. Congratulations to you all.
