On 5th July, The Year 5/6 boys’ football team played in the Bill McIllvride Cup final. They had previously won the quarter and semi-finals 19-0 and 12-0 respectively, so we were very confident going into the final. Despite dominating the match with several great chances and hitting the post, we could not score a goal in both normal and extra time so the game went to penalties. These were very nerve-wracking but the boys stayed calm and eventually won 4-3.
