On Thursday 16th March, Birch Copse were delighted to welcome STEM Ambassadors from AWE. During their visit, the children experienced a variety of activities focussing on climate change and our carbon footprints, including making seismographs – some of which you can see in the photos. Lots of fun was had by all. Following on from our recent ‘Inspire Me’ assembly, where we were visited by a medicinal chemist, it was also good for the children to meet and speak to more people whose jobs are deeply rooted in science.
